This policy explains how Hour Mate handles information when you use hourmate.in and related customer, companion and admin services.
Information we collect
We may collect account details such as name, phone number and email; booking information such as service, schedule, address and notes; companion application information; support communications; and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the platform.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, process and manage bookings, match customers with approved companions, communicate status updates, provide support, improve service quality, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.
Location information
Service addresses are used to fulfil bookings. Live location, when introduced for an active booking, will be used only for booking fulfilment and safety controls with appropriate notice and permission.
Sharing
We share only the information reasonably needed to fulfil a booking between the customer, assigned Mate and authorised operations team. We may also use service providers for hosting, authentication, messaging, payments and support subject to appropriate safeguards.
Data security and retention
We use account permissions and technical safeguards designed to protect data. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, dispute handling, safety and legal requirements.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information and may withdraw optional permissions through your device or account settings. Some records may be retained where legally or operationally required.
